Components Of The EYLF & MTOP

what are their aims and key components?

EYLF
Aims: To lay a solid foundation to the early years for future learning and development.
Key Components: Learning Outcomes
• Children have a strong sense of identity
• Children are connected with and contribute to
their world
• Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
• Children are confident and involved learners
• Children are effective communicators.

MTOP
Aims: To extend and enrich school aged children's wellbeing and development.
Key Components: Learning Outcomes
• Children have a strong sense of identity
• Children are connected with and contribute to
their world
• Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
• Children are confident and involved learners
• Children are effective communicators.

ok im confused again....they both seem to have the same key components - outcomes, principles and practices.
right?

Yes, they are very similar, you may find a couple of sub outcomes they differ from EYLF to MTOP and aims will be different as EYLF is for early childhood and MTOP is for school age children...
