Compliance - Stage 2 - Quality Improvement

Post by Educator-MissAbby » Thu Oct 27, 2016 6:26 pm

Hi everyone!

I've just about completed my final assessment for Compliance in my Diploma studies, however I am stuck on what I am meant to be answering in one question and just need some confirmation!

For this assesment, I am to conduct and provide a Quality improvement plan for my placement/work centre, done!
however, one question is:
"How the key improvements should be reflected in your Improvement Plan (to Follow) and document the key areas of your discussion here"

I am to discuss with my director but would like an idea so I am not taking up too much of her time, and my study provider is known not to word things very well that she is also unsure of the point!

MY assumption of I should answer:
Discuss and reflect on the areas I identified as weak spots from my QIP eg. Training on child protection more regularly, continuous meal planning to be more considerate to children's needs and dietary requirements.

Thank you!

I understand how confusing the wording in assignments can be! It's so annoying that they cant just put the question in layman's terms! :giggle:

Ok, so in your Improvement Plan, have you identified what needs to be worked on for the centre to meet a particular standard? You added "training on child protection more regularly". So, I think key improvements are the strategies for each point that the centre needs to worked on. Such as "What strategies would the centre use to train staff on child protection issues". For example - professional development workshop, a copy of the policy to be given to each staff, information booklet in the staff room on child protection etc.

Hope this helps!

Thank you, so you've just confirmed what I had thought it meant, hopefully it is correct!
