Hi I am currently doing my Diploma In childcare and needed some help, these are the questions I have answered just needed advice if they are answered correctly thank you

Outline the strategies you will ensure are in place in each of the following areas:
question 1:Sustaining ongoing health and morale of staff
answer: A positive work environment is promoted, staff strengths are used in the curriculum, staff are encouraged to take responsibility for managing themselves, staff feel welcomed and valued, staff are given the opportunities to attend professional workshops and staff are encouraged to provide feedback on the centre
question2:Cooperative work practices are implemented
answer: effective role modelling to demonstrate your commitment towards creating a work environment which is open and supportive for communication and practices, provide regular opportunities for staff to come together for open discussions that will assist the building of a close knit staff
question 3: Positive relationships between staff and management
answer: Use staffs knowledge, wealth and experiences to enhance care and opportunities for the children, Involve staff in team projects
question4: Model and promote effective communication strategies (must include open discussions and active listening)
answer: Engage in ongoing open discussions with staff to build on a relationship of trust and help establish an environment in which concerns and issues are discussed freely, encourage staff to openly talk about their issues and ideas for the centre, engage in feedback and respond to what you hear using paraphrasing and reflection, involve staff by gaining their opinions and listen to their advice.
question5:Maintaining confidentiality for staff information

Yes, you're on the right track with your responses! You could also include:

Q1) Provide staff information on health an safety in the workplace, have staff outings, give staff positive feedback on the work their doing, have fun competitions with prizes, have a notice board with fun stuff, set a relaxing staff room for staff to chill in during their breaks.

Q2) Talk to the staff about work practices during staff meetings and clear up any issues/concerns.

Q3) Have staff talk to management about what their doing in their rooms, send monthly newsletter to management about what's happening at the centre so they are up to date etc.

Q4) Lock staff information in cabinet. Assure staff that all information provided and any issues/concerns spoken about with director/management will remain confidential. Ensure the policy is up to date.

Hope this helps,

:geek:,
