Hi Mojo,

For this may be you need to think about how we all have different values & beliefs and experiences. what works for some may not neccessary work for others and this is why it may be unrealistic for all to embrace inclusion values.

thanks L.A (lol) but still a bit confused as the question is: in order to develop and implement and sustain inclusive practices in early childhood services, managers must guide the team through a process of evaluation and reflection.

then it asks: why is is UNREALISTIC to assume that all team members and families will necessarily embrace inclusive values

then the next questioin is: describe the issues, facts would explore if yo9u were leading a team through a process of reflection on issues of inclusion.
Then it breaks it into areas eg: culture, identity and self esteem then it says 'detail you would explore' lol help

I can see why this question is confusing… I think you need to begin with what are inclusive values and once you figure that out you can hopefully answer the rest of the question. I had a read around and this is what I found…

Im uploading a document called "Diversity & Equality Guidelines”…I skimmed through it and I think this may help you figure out the question.

Hi,
I'm doing this question also and I'm a bit stuck. I'm up to part 2, which is "Describe the issues, attitudes, facts you would explore if you were leading a team through a process of reflection on issues of inclusion." The areas are a. culture, identity and self esteem, b. challenging bias and stereotypes, c. providing an inclusive environment, d. model inclusive practices, e. addressing bias or comments about difference and f. ensuring privacy and confidentiality. With each area we need to answer 'detail you would explore'. I'm really just not sure what the question is asking me! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi
I am doing same questions from long time,

1) Why is it unrealistic to assume all term members and families will necessarily embrace inclusive values?
2) describe the issues ,attitudes ,facts you explore if you were leading a team through a process of reflection of issues of inclusion. Cultural ,identity and self esteem, challenges bias and stereotypes , providing an inclusive environment, model inclusive practices, addressing bias or comments about difference, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.

I am stuck on it from last 4 days I did lots of research but couldn't find it ,if anyone have a idea pls reply so i can finish my assignment before this Tuesday before my teacher come.
Thanks

For Q1:
A common definition of an inclusive value system where they say, “Inclusion is a sense of belonging: feeling respected, valued for who you are; feeling a level of supportive energy and commitment from others so than you can do your best work".

Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inclusion_ ... _practice)

Some people don't like change, not everyone is comfortable doing things from other cultures that they don't understand, not everyone finds the same thing important, each cultural group has different beliefs and values so they may not conform to other's ideas and beliefs...

For Q2:

http://www.csie.org.uk/inclusion/what.shtml

Hopefully this gives you a start,
