Re: CHCECE020 - Scenarios To Support & Guide Children's Behaviour
Hi Tracie,
I had a read through your assignment and these are the following points you can add from my point of view:
Since she has been in a lot of stressful situations the environment could be a little overwhelming for her to cope with at the moment. Her behaviour can be affected through her actions (slapping child) as this is a sign that she needs emotional and social support now that her best friends have left the centre. She should be encouraged to some individual quiet time activities that are stimulating. This will encourage her to focus and concentrate on a set task which will help her deal with her stress for the time being.
The room educators, speaking to the family and understanding that there has been recent changes at home and there has also been changes at the centre.

3 - How may the environment and/or curriculum be influencing the child’s behaviour?

4 - Who would you involve in the process of identifying the causes for the child’s behaviour?
The room educators, speaking to the family and understanding that there has been recent changes at home and there has also been changes at the centre.
7 - Discuss strategies put into place to respond to difficult behaviours displayed by the child
