need help with this question kiara is 3 years old. She is trying hard to carry a big basket of soft toys. Every few steps a toy falls out of the basket. She stops, puts the basket down, puts the toy back into the basket and sets off again. She does this 4 times. The 5th time a toy falls out, she stops, looks at it and carries the basket to the shelf where it belongs. She then returns to the toy on the floor, picks it up and takes it to the basket. How would you respond to the child? Why would you respond this way?
My answer: ' i could see you were having a difficult time when carrying the basket, when the toys fall out, good job for picking up the toys, thank you'
I would respond this way to show acknowledgement that kiara picked up the toys and to praise to kiara for picking up the toys that she dropped on the floor.
Is this the right kind of answer?
