The question is pretty straight forward... you need to come up with questions based upon the topics mentioned above. For example:

1) What times does your child sleep throughout the day?
2) Does your child sleep with a comforter?
3) What foods does your child like?
4) How often does your child eat throughout the day?
5) Does your child have any allergies?

Cultural preferences include things such special meal considerations, clothing needs, ways to address families, respecting child's beliefs and traditions etc.
