CHC50113-Rights and responsibilities of workers employers and clients
Hello, first time poster here:
I need to identify the legal and ethical considerations of the following: Rights and responsibilities of workers, employers and customers, and list how they apply in an early childhood setting and how it impacts my role.
My question is, there are a lot of considerations under the regulations, with a lot of considerations. Am I supposed to list all of them, or just pick a few as examples?

How can you further your professional development as an educator?
Work legally and ethically
If you were to look for 'Industrial Relations Legislation' relevant to employment conditions of the educator’s role, where would you find this information?

Work legally and ethically
You will need to recognise one of the below unethical behaviours, which might cause a conflict of interest with the current staff member and possibly other staff members.
will need to first:
research and document the framework and Service's current policy and procedure
understand and list the steps you need to follow as an educator.
Use this information to gain your own perspective and ethical views of the current situation, and how the current situation applies to you and your current job role.
Part Two
Once you have this information, identify possible problem-solving techniques and how you can resolve each of the below unethical behaviours, which might cause a conflict of interest:
Topics of unethical behaviours, which might cause a conflict of interest:
educators favouring their own children and ignoring children who need them
educators discussing family private information to other educators and being opinionated in the lunch room
educators deliberately ignoring family culture requests because they feel its not right what the family is requesting.
The observations the Supervisor will be looking for you to complete in this task will be the following:
Learner can show they have accessed the service policy and procedure and can explain the issue and where it links directly to the policy
Learner can provide research on the scenario they have selected and where this may link positively or negatively to the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework (if relevant)
Learner has been able to identify their role and responsibilities in line with the following:
1) policy and procedure
2) job description
3) code of ethics or company ethics
4) regulations
Learner to identify what steps they would take prior to talking with the Supervisor (they should be able to discuss service policy/ procedure for complaints, grievances, concerns or staff mis-conduct)
Learner is able to identify how it affects them and why they are concerned
As part of the role play, the learner will come up with three strategies to help assist the situation or prevent it from occurring again
Learner should be able to identify what the preferred outcome will be
