CHC50113 - Effective Curriculum Evaluation

Post by Karla123 » Mon Mar 02, 2015 8:12 pm

Still working on this Cluster CHC50113 and have been asked to list strategies for effective curriculum evaluation.
Any ideas? I was going to talk about evaluating the curriculum in line with the EYLF Outcomes in relation to gathering and documenting information, how that information is analysed and ensuring that there are procedures in place for educators to reflect on practice. Is this on the right track do you think?

Yes, I think you're on the right track with your response. You could speak to other educators within the room on how the program went, answer a specific set of questions (check page 2 of our curriculum plan templates for evaluation questions), ask the children (depending on age) what they enjoy doing throughout the day, get comments and feedback from parents, using a daily dairy, completing a weekly self reflection etc.

Hope this helps,
