Play and Learn Cluster AT2

Post by Jeremy2021 » Sun Aug 29, 2021 9:07 pm

Hi Lorina, I am now working on my AT2 play and learn cluster as it requires us to observe 3 children and we need 3 experiences as it shows below.

Plan and Implement three (3) learning experiences, one (1) for each of your three (3) focus children which link to a documented observation. The experiences will need to be planned, implemented, and, once completed, verified by your supervisor in your logbook. The follow-up experiences suggested in Part 5 (above) can be used as a basis for your planning. The plan can include other children to allow for individual and collaborative experiences. Of the three (3) experiences, one (1) must take place in an indoor environment, one (1) must take place in an outdoor environment, and the third (3rd) must be an experience reading a storybook to a child/ren incorporating the use of puppets or props. Health and safety environmental considerations are a priority when planning the experiences.
2. Ensure that the experiences support a variety of domains of development (physical, social, emotional, communication, and cognitive).
3. Your supervisor must review your plan prior to implementation to ensure that the experience is suitable and the environment is safe.

can you suggest some experiences, please?

For indoor it could be anything really puzzles, threading, playdough, playing in the home corner etc.

For outdoor you can do an obstacle course, sandpit play, add kitchen set in sandpit, setting up a drawing experience in front of the garden, planting veggies etc.

For the third, you could do Going On A Bear Hunt, Rainbow Fish etc.

Remember that these need to link to an observation of each child.
