Post by PriyankaB » Sun Aug 07, 2016 5:30 pm

Hi,
I have Childcare interview in this week. This will be my first interview in 9years. I am joining workforce again after 3 years(As I was spending time with my 2 kids) now both settle in school and Childcare. I am quite nervous, there will be group interview, don't know what question they will ask. I know they will be child care related question but don't know what I should expect. I am cert 3 with 7yrs experience.
Any help would be great, want to know what kind of question they ask related to EYLF and NQF.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi!

Welcome back to the childcare industry!

In regards to questions asked during the interview, it could be scenario based, or direct questions on EYLF/NQF. So, it's better to be prepared! The following may help:

Hello,

Welcome back to your career!

Some common group interview questions are:

How Would Your Colleagues Describe You?
How Would You Describe Yourself?
What Interests You in Our Company?
How Do You Work in a Team?
Describe Your Career History and Future Goals in 30 Seconds.
What Made This Team Work Successfully?

As you are experienced, you know how to answer the questions. But still, let me tell you

Arrive ahead of schedule.
Plan an introduction.
Research the company.
Speak with confidence.
Learn to listen and observe.

Hope this will help..

All the best!

Thank you

Nandita
