We came to Australia 7 months ago ; I am a software engineer by profession and a permanent resident.
Since I have a keen desire to work with and for kids I got myself enrolled for Diploma course in Early Childcare from Elite Training Institute
here in Melbourne. I have classes for 2 days Sunday and Monday. I am interested in doing a childcare job while pursuing my studies .
I came to know that we can get a childcare job while doing a cert III but while doing Diploma either we should have completed cert III modules or 30% of the modules. So just wanted to check if that information is correct and if yes then how much time it would take to complete 30% of the course.
Since doing a job and that too in childcare is an absolute necessity for me so please advice shall I go for a Cert III and later pursue Diploma.Also which have higher job prospects Cert III or Diploma?
Also if anyone can give some reviews about Elite Training Institute.
