Anyone from the Sunshine Coast?

Hi everyone

I am just wondering if anyone here is from the Sunshine Coast and if so, how did you go in gaining employment in a Childcare Centre? Did you get it fairly easily or are you still searching?

Im about to start a Cert lll in Childcare and as I'm mature age Im worried about the job prospects here. It seems like getting any form of work here is like winning the lotto!

I'm in Sydney, so I'm not sure how it is in the Sunshine Coast... since you're about to start your qualification I would probably suggest getting some casual work available (if possible). If you can't find anything, you could probably join a job agency because they will also help you to find a job...

Yes thats what I'm thinking too. Get my foot in the door doing some casual work. I will start the course, then start applying asap.
Do you know if there are any agencies that are specifically for childcare?
