Completed cert iii. Should I do cert iv?

Post by spike05060 » Mon Apr 23, 2018 6:35 am

Hi. I just handed in my last module for cert iii in education.
When I signed up to do the course I didn’t realised I could of just done my cert iv (thinking I had to do cert iii first).
I got a contract working 4 days at my school which is pretty secure.
My question is should I do my cert iv? I’m guessing I don’t really need but just wondering if I should do it that way I have the highest level.
Not sure what to do?

You may as well continue since you're in study mode at the moment...

Both qualifications enable you to work as a teachers aide. The only difference is that a Cert 4 qualification enables you to work with children with additional needs such as a physical disability, a child with autism etc.
