Today you notice a bruise on a child forehead (50c size approx) the child did not have the bruise on the service the previous morning. You mention the bruise and the child says "daddy got very angry today when I wasn't getting ready for kindy" you place a cold cloth on his head. "Daddy pushed me on the wall and I hit my head I cried and told mummy and she said that's what you get when you don't get ready for kindy".

Q2: a parent informs you her child is not to have a sleep during the day anymore and is not going to bed before 10pm at night. You advise the parent to write the request in the communication book so the message is passed on. She does. You follow up the note with a verbal reminder to the team leader and upon her arrival at work. After returning from lunch you find the team leader has patted the child to sleep, when you aka why he is asleep she replies "he was very grumpy and falling asleep during lunch time. He clearly needed a sleep"

Q3:
A 3 year old child is new at the centre, a few times last week you witnessed this child playing with other children pointing at their genitals and asking them to pull their pants down. On one accession she told the other child it was 'a secret'. When discovered the child becomes aggressive and pushes you and the other child away. You speak with the director about your concerns and the director contacts the child's parent whom are shocked at the information. The director implements a strict plan regarding supervision whilst the child is in the centres provision and have spoken to the parents about also doing so at home as the child has an eighteen month old sibling
