When we talk about sustainable practices within the environment ‘environment’ can refer to the ‘natural’ environment (nature, land, plants, water etc.) and the ‘constructed’ environment (buildings, equipment, man-made resources);
Identify two ways you, as an Educator, can role-model sustainable behaviours for the following?
Natural environment:
Sustainable Behaviours
1. Add mulching to gardens to reduce water needs.
2. Repair leaks
Constructed environment:
Sustainable Behaviour
1. Taking responsibility for turning off lights, fans before going outdoors.
2. Choose most appropriate energy saving methods available including considering energy rating on the range of equipments, appliances and lighting products.
Just want to know if these answers are correct.
