Statements of practice

Post by MissOlivia2302 » Sun Jan 19, 2014 8:16 pm

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCCN305B SS002
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Basic Knowledge

Your Question?
1. How to value each child as an individual with a unique personality. temperament, preferences and abilities.

2. Promote children as capable and resourceful.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
1. Children need to be valued as individuals, not as a collective group. Each child has their own personality, likes and dislikes and different skill levels. Understanding and appreciating this as well as planning the daily routine and activities to fit this, will ensure each child gets a personal and thorough education.

2. I was unsure as to how to do answer this. Does it mean to let children attempt to do different activities like tying their own shoes and washing their own hands and feeding themselves so they learn that they can do it on their own.

Description and Message:
Wasn't sure if I was on the right track or not but this is my final assignment and I am looking forward to be completely finished! :giggle:
