Standards Relevant To The Safety Of Children

Post by nadiaau » Mon Oct 05, 2015 12:54 pm

Hi, I'm new and doing online courses. It's very hard as I can't get support from my current provider.
Can anyone comment or check my answer.

* Under the NQS there are a number of standards that are relevant to the safety of children in an Early Childhood Education and Care service. What are the main Standards that support this?

Do I need to go details ? If i just say the following is it enough?

Standard 2.1 Each child’s health is promoted.
Standard 2.2 Healthy eating and physical activity are embedded in the program for children.
Standard 2.3 Each child is protected.

For this question I think the information you have provide is enough. You can also add the following to the list of standards:

Standard 4.1 - Staffing arrangements enhance children’s learning and development and ensure their safety and wellbeing.
