Responsibility for management of asthma

Post by RINSA » Mon May 25, 2015 2:54 pm

Hi,
I have just started studying my Cert 3 online and need help with a question please?????
Responsibility for the management of asthma is shared. In the table below, or similar, identify 5 actions that parents, the service and educators should do to work together to provide a safe and healthy environment for children with asthma???????
parents: ensure centre has a copy of asthma action plan, ensure meds are up to date at centre and that they are with the child, ensure emergency plan is left with centre to access if needed
service: ensure staff are aware of childs triggers and symptoms, inform parents of all asthma incidents, establish routine systems, ensure asthma kit is available, ensure all staff know where to find it and have training in it
staff: ensure they are aware of kit and children with asthma, ensure they have done training, be aware of triggers

Am I on right track???? Please help with more

Hey that link you provided doesn't work anymore. Can you help me answer the question of What action should be taken when a child shows symptoms of an asthma attack? Please.
