Reflect on and improve own professional practice

Post by Greenhaven » Sun Jan 29, 2023 5:31 pm

Im not sure what they want from this question.
In early childhood education and care setting you are obliged to review and improve your own practices on a regular basis. in what way do each of the legal and ethical areas impact on this? (code of practice, code of ethics)

I think it means how you see them differently over time - having experience in childcare setting. How our own practices can change as we develop new knowledge and experience within a work group and families.

Yes, you're on the right track...

This is in regard to critical reflections on your work practices. How do you develop and maintain relationships with Educators, Families and Children? How you respond to ethical issues if they rise etc.

This may help:

Hello I'm currently doing the reflect in and improve own professional practice assignment and I'm stuck on these 2 questions.
Q22 summarise the rights and responsibilities of employers and educators under the legislation

Q25 suggest 6 work methods and practices that you can use at work to develop and improve your performance
