Provide care for Children (Project 3)

Post by nicq » Thu Oct 13, 2011 12:52 pm

Hi, just wondering if anyone studying their Cert III has hit a wall with this project. I need to Describe & explain how to deal with the listed issues (Cultural, historical, and access & equity) and how I would ensure that the rights of diverse people and their communities can be upheld. It has been reccommended that we incorporate Aborigional & Torres Straight Islander in out project. Any tips or suggestions would REALLY be welcome!! I think I would like to do this on a scenerio based project...?
Thanks!!!

Hey Nikki,

Doing this project based on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Isander people is a really good idea. I think many of us unfortunaltely don't know the history and culture that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are customed to... So, this way as you read up on info and research I guess in a way you get to learn a part of culture and history that is important to Australia... I have a document that I think will provide you the information you need for this assignment... Have a read through it ans I'm sure you can get some ideas through this information...

Hope This Helps!
