The following photographs show children engaged in typical play experiences.
For each experience write one open-ended question and one suggestion that could be used to encourage continued conversation/interaction.
Play Experience
1. Over the fence: The Educator holds the ladder while Cory looks over the fence.
Question: So what can you see Cory?
Suggestion: So are you able to count number of Kangaroos for me please? and ask if he is enjoying standing over the ladder.
2. Hide & Seek: “We’re hiding!”
Question: Who gave you idea to hide in this place, it was not easy to find you.
Suggestion: It was very smart to hide in this place. I was looking for you everywhere. Why don’t you try hiding behind the wall next time.
3. Dinosaurs: Anshul creates a dinosaur habitat.
Question: That seems really interesting can you tell me more about what you are doing?
Suggestion: The tree on the top of black hilly mountain looks great. You could add more trees on the ground along with wood to make it look like jungle.
4. Rukan (3 years) tells the Educator: “We made a big, big bowl of ‘p’sketti’.(spaghetti)”
Question: So for whom are you making this spaghetti?
Suggestion: You could add something in it to give it a good flavour, like shells, pretending its vegetables in the spaghetti.
5. Drew (18 months) piles the rocks together.
Question: wow Drew, the piles of rocks looks really great together, what are you trying to do with them?
Suggestion: You could place small rocks on the top of big and make it look like building or castle.
I wrote these questions and suggestions according to the scenarios but my assessor told me that questions are fine but in suggestions I have to ask another question to continue the conversation.
really have no idea what else to write. please help me Lorina its my last attempt.
Thanks

Re: questions and suggestions
I have done some changes in the suggestions:
Scenario 1.
Suggestion: What is the most attractive thing over there to look?
Scenario 2.
Suggestion: what do you think about hiding behind the wooden block area next time? That’s the best place to hide too.
Scenario 3.
• Suggestion: What do Dinosaurs eat? Do they eat same food like us?
Scenario 4.
Suggestion: What else you are going to add in this so that it will look more delicious?
Scenario 5.
You know you can build a castle or a rocky wall with this, In which are you interested?
tell me if I am on right track please.
