Letting Children Know It's Time To Make Transitions

Post by Kaku1 » Thu Nov 10, 2016 9:00 am

Hi Lorina
What are some strategies you can use to let children know it's time to make a transition? Provide three examples.

Answer is

Sit on the mat
Used to assist children into group time

Pass the bean bag

Used to gather children to go to next activity or to go to bathroom

Follow the light

Used to gather children to go inside

Am I on right track ??

Thanks

Transitions means moving from one activity to the next so the questions is asking how would you let children know it's time to move onto the next activity etc. So, one way could be ringing a bell or playing a specific song etc.

Hope this helps!
