Importance of Collaborating With Children

Post by georgiar.nielsen » Sun Mar 24, 2013 2:29 pm

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: Interact Effectively with children: Why it is important to collaborate with children.
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
Why it is important to collaborate with children?

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I have written down some notes about respecting the diversity of each Individual but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the question.

Description and Message:
Hello!

I am currently studying the Cert III in Childrens Services and i am a little stuck on a question in an assignment for the subject Interact Effectively With Children.

The question is: Explain why it is important to collaborate with children.

I have completed every other question for this assignment.

Thank you!

Georgia

Some other ideas on why we collaborate with children can include:

- to gain an understanding of their knowledge
- to develop their interests and skills
- to further extend on their learning
- to show interest in their thoughts and ideas

Hope this helps,
