Impacts of Government legislation on Aboriginal culture

Question: What are the some of the impacts of government Legislation on Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Culture?

I tried it on Google but there are various legislation available related to Aboriginal people BUT I could not find anything which tells me the actual impacts of these laws & legislation on Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander culture.

can some one help me to get the relevant references?
