HLTHIR403B Assist a child with disabilities or who's first Language is not English feel safe

Hey guys, Ive partly answers a question but Im stuck,
the question is
DESCRIBE A STRATEGY YOU COULD USE IN THE WORKPLACE TO ASSIST A CHILD WITH DISABILITIES OR WHOS FIRST LANGUAGE IS NOT ENGLISH, TO FEEL SAFE AND SECURE

What Ive got so far is:
- Always give a warm welcome and make a good impression, by using positive, open and friendly non verbal communication. For example smile and stop to greet people.

- Use internationally recognised body language such as, when introducing yourself, place your hand on your chest when saying your name and then move your hand towards the other person with your palm facing slightly upwards when asking
their name.

- When they say their name, repeat it, trying to pronounce it correctly. Ask and learn about where they come from, and about their home language, and possibly even take the time to learn a few words/phrases in the language.
- Teach the class songs in the childs home language
- Show a genuine interest and be keen to learn.
- Speak slowly and clearly
- With a child who has disabilities, find out as much as you can about their condition and how this affects their needs, and try to accommodate them as best you can
- Make them feel as normal as possible.

Thats all I have so far, what am I missing????
any help would be amazing
Thanks guys :)
