Encouraging Educators To Incorporate Routines For Learning

I work in Family Day Care and am needing some idea's on how to encourage the educators to be meeting the following
I have a educator audit I need to fill in but not sure on what to write.

Standard 1:1
Element 1.1.3 - The program, including routines, is organised in ways that maximise opportunities for each child's learning.

For this particular element within the "Guide to The NQS" it states:

Assessors may observe children:

• noticing and predicting patterns of regular routines and the passing of time
• using effective routines to help make predicted transitions smoothly
• participating collaboratively in everyday routines, events and experiences and having
opportunities to contribute to decisions
• having opportunities to enhance their learning during routines
• educators and co-ordinators:
• using routines and play experiences to interact with babies and children to build attachment
• using routines to undertake intentional teaching
• seeking opportunities within routines for spontaneous learning
• minimising the times during which children are expected to do the same thing at the same time

Additional guidance for family day care services:

Assessors may observe educators incorporating learning experiences into everyday activities that occur in the home, such as meal preparation and packing up

Why is it important to use routines to undertake intentional teaching?

During routines you can provide "learning experiences" as your intentional teaching tasks such as:

For example: Lunch Time

- taking turns (waiting to serve them selves)
- self help skills (pouring their own water into a cup, feeding themselves)
- social skills (sitting and talking with friends during lunch time)
- nutrition (talk about what vegetables and foods they are eating)
