4. discuss ways in which you can use verbal and non verbal communication with diverse clients and coworkers? why is word choice so important?
5. discuss the needs of marginalised groups, including physical, mental and emotional needs and the impact that discrimination, negative attitudes, trauma and exclusion can have on them.
6. How does your workplace identify issues that may cause conflict and what structures are in place to deal with cross cultural conflict if it occurs? where do you seek assistance?
7. Are you aware of current and historical cultural issues impacting on the health of aboriginal and torres strait islander people? where could you research current finding and information? how has our western systems and structures impacted on them, especially in the health area?
