a) Environmental sustainability
1) Explaining and talking to the children about plants and animals that occur in the centre : Example: bugs, lizards etc.

2) Using materials with the children like rocks, sticks, twigs leafs for there art work.

3) Introducing activities such as nature treasure hunts and encourage them to interact with the nature world. exploration of the natural environment helps children to develop an appreciation of the natural world, and awareness of the impact of human activity on the environment and to begin to think of ways in which they can contribute to a sustainable future.
b) Economic sustainability
) switching off light when not needed

2) Using clothes line to dry clothes rather then using dryer .

3) Turning off taps and encouraging children to turn off tapes when they finish washing hands. Every week every child will get to a turn on been a water monitor. we can contribute to the centre’s ability to afford adequate resources to provide high quality service.
c) Workforce sustainability
1. Attract and retain the right people.
2. Assess and grow our human capital
3. Build a resilient, engaged and high performing workforce
4. Maintain work/life balance safety of employ is paramount. Each employee has a responsibility for their on safety, and safety of others around them.
d) Social sustainability
I will likely need to work effectively ithin the community, work effectively as a team member, handle an manage conflict, and communicate with family about the culture and routine of the children. These all help to promote social sustainability by helping to build community partnerships, improving happiness and wellbeing of the centre and community, and of course helping to support healthy and liveable communities.
