In a child care service, you will need to cater for children’s individual dietary needs.
a) Explain how the centre obtains information regarding children’s specific dietary needs, food allergies or intolerances and who the information comes from.
b) Once this information has been obtained, describe the process for identifying children who have specific dietary needs, food allergies or intolerances.
c) Explain why it is important that these children be identified.
d) Explain what you would do if there was no policy to identify, manage and monitor children who have special dietary needs.
i need some help in b)
it came as incorrect and the guide is 'what is the process that educators and service centres must do in protecting the child’s records` i am having a black out i can t get there.

When a child has special dietary needs, educators fill in a special dietary form and place in the kitchen as a reminder of the child's dietary needs. This is usually kept away from parents and others due to privacy reasons so it may be put in an area only visible to those working in the kitchen...
