Post by catnap » Mon Mar 25, 2013 10:35 am

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCOSHC402B Cert IV OSHC Develop and Implement activities in OSHC
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Basic Knowledge

Your Question?
Undertake research into the requirements of your own service policies and practices relating to curriculum/program for children. Specifically need to find details of......
1. What does the philosophy say? What do you need to consider when developing and implementing the curriculum?
2 What goals and outcomes does the service need you to achieve?
3. What are the requirements for gathering info on children?
4. What are the requirements for planning and implementing the curriculum?
5. What are the requirements for evalutating?

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I have read the philosophy so far and have also looked at My time Our Place online. I am aware I need parent permission when taking obs/assessments of children. Not sure where to look for the other info and what policies/practices I need to view at the Centre.

Description and Message:
Hi! I am just wondering in regards to the above assignments questions...... What are the policies I would need to look at in regards to the above questions?

thanks in advance...
Cheers!

I think you should try having a look at the programming policy at your centre. In it you should find the information you're looking for.
