CHCLEG001 - Develop and Review Workplace Policies

I am doing Cert III in childare.
I am stuck in this question, as I have never worked in childcare or preschool before.

What processes are followed to develop and review workplace policies, procedures, and/or protocols in your workplace?

For the life of me, I couldn't find the answer in any of the readings or articles that teachers gave us. Could anyone point out where to look for the answer?
Or should I go and approach a centre's director and ask about what they usually do ?
