Someone asked this question. I did not give her an answer and will not give you one either. You need to at least TRY to answer the question so we can help you from there. Us spoon-feeding answers to people does not help you learn anything.

So please post back with what you think & your understanding of this question

Hi Tayla,

I'd love to help you.
I need to ascertain the level of understanding you have.

what do you understand about outlining strategies staff could use to clearly communicate positive and realistic expectations for behaviour of children.

What does it take to communicate clearly, effectively and realistically with the childrens andtheir behaviour??

Tay - firstly you should have your textbooks, all the answers will be found in your books. If you are attempting to study with the recommended texts than in simple language DON'T ... the texts are there for a reason.
As Moderators our job is to help you to find the answers, help you add to your answers, direct you and assist you, it is NOT to do your questions for you.
I find your "Don't worry about it then" comment seriously disconcerting, like you just expected the answer to be given to you and when you were asked for your input you were no longer interested.
Understanding the question is the hardest part, this is not a difficult question once you know what it being asked.
Simply .... how would you make the children understand what behaviour is expected of them.
Perhaps you will be willing to answer this. If you cannot be bothered to help us help you then sorry but we cannot assist you then.

Sorry if this is coming across as harsh but seems in the past week there has been an escalation of posters who just want answers and are not willing to answer questions ... they just want the easy option...and we moderators are getting a little tired of it.

While your understanding is a great start Tayla

You need to look deeper

the ACEQUA website should be very helpful as to the EYLF links I gave you.
http://acecqa.gov.au/links-and-resource ... resources/

http://www.deewr.gov.au/Earlychildhood/ ... _Guide.pdf

http://www.deewr.gov.au/Earlychildhood/ ... 170909.pdf

http://www.deewr.gov.au/Earlychildhood/ ... %20WEB.pdf

I think the others will agree these links are the most useful documents we have in Early Childhood. added to your text books they will answer all your Cert III questions.

When I did Cert III I did not need anything more than my text books and a bit of lateral thinking.
