Chcece013 Use Information About Children To Inform Practice

Post by Klara97 » Tue Dec 13, 2016 11:10 pm

Hi I would like to know if this is an observation or jotting
i've added the words child and educator 1 and educator 2 in as i'm not sure if names can be included
and is it a good enough standard for me to submit to my trainer

Child has an interest in dinosaurs.

Child showed one of the educators a puzzle piece with a dinosaur on it and he called out the word dinosaur .

Child has an interest in transport based toys such as cars and buses.

Child will hold up various cars and buses and say the word bus and car.

When educators within the toddler room are putting toys on the table, Child will walk over to the table and play with the buses and cars.

Child attends the happy feet classes, throughout happy feet he will dance and sing along with the happy feet instructor.

Child interacts with other children that around him within the toddler room but when play time comes he prefers to play by him self, when other children come to him he will involve them in his play and communicate with them while he is playing.

Child is good at name calling and remembering the names of the educators.

When educator 1 and educator 2 entered the room child called out the words educator 1 and educator 2.

Child is very focused and concentrated when he is working through a topic or a task.

Child will play with the magnetic blocks and lego blocks for a very long time until he finishes it which tells the educators that he will stay concentrated on a task and a topic that he has a real interest for.

When child tries to get a toy from a child he will say the word mine.

Thank

You

Klara
