CHCECE007 - Policies for respectful relationships with children

Post by Melbourne » Sun Sep 04, 2016 3:21 pm

Hi,

I'm stuck on question 6.

Organisational standards, policies and procedures – make a list of the policies relevant to this unit of competency – CHCECE007 Develop positive and respectful relationships with children. Access the following website: acacia.com.au

I put for the answer Quality Area 5: relationships with children and the elements related to this.

But question 7 is.

National Quality Standards – which quality area/s apply to each of this unit of competency
-List the quality area and the relevant Standards/Elements.

Which means my answer for 6 is wrong as that would be right for number 7. Now I have no idea what they are asking for question 6. Can anyone give me a hand. I'm really frustrated so I'm going to have a walk to destress.

Thanks.

So for Q6) Is stating policies and procedures rather than the National Quality Areas. The policies and procedures are found in each centre and they are guidelines that all educators need to follow within the centre. These guidelines are based on the National Regulations and best practices when working with children.

You can find sample policies here which may be able to help:
Sample Policies

For Q7) you can add the Standards and Elements relevant to the question:
Guide To The NQS

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the clear explanation of the question. You have the knack of explaining things clearly.
