CHCECE007 -Age Disparity Between Children To Ensure A Safe and Happy Environment

HI I am currently studying the unit CHCECE007 and the question ask:

When you are dealing with a wide range of age disparity between children, what actions should you take to ensure that the children are safe and happy? (75–100 words)

I am struggling on how to answer this, I have googled " age disparity" but it just informs me of sexual ages, so nothing to do with the question. I have tried to read the quality area 2 but it just confuses me, I feel unsure of how to answer, could someone please point me in the right direction? Give me a clue?
