CHCECE005 - Daily Food Log For Nursery & Toddler Room

Post by Bentley75 » Tue May 05, 2015 11:49 am

Hi,

I currently work in a preschool and not with babies.

This is the question:

SECTION 4: Activity 4:

Objective: To provide you with an opportunity to communicate with families daily about the child’s intake and experiences with food and drink.

Question 1

Design a daily food log you for you to use and provide to families in a baby room and a toddler room (one for each room). If one already exists, modify and improve it.

This is what I have so far - I have it in a table format but I can not copy the table for some reason.

Child’s name
Morning bottle/breast Morning Tea
Lunch bottle/breast Lunch
Afternoon bottle/breast Aftenoon Tea

Have I missed anything?

Thanks

You could have:

Child's Name:
Morning Tea: (write what it is)
Amount: Little, Half, Most, All

You could write the same for Lunch and Aftnoon Tea as well. Parents basically want to see what their child ate and how much of it they ate. You could also include "notes" at the bottom to include any pthing else you need to mention for each individual child.

Hope this helps,

:geek:,
