"You have twins in your room with parents that were both very involved with their children and both signed the enrolment forms when first enrolled a year ago. Since then, the parents have separated and have drawn up a formal parenting plan which lists both parents as legal carers.
One day the mother confides in you that she is in a new relationship. She asks that you don't allow the children's father to pick them up from care anymore, and to only let the children go with her or the new partner. She explains that she feels that this is better to establish the new family relationship."

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
1. Discuss the situation with both legal carers as they are both legally entitled and responsible for the children, and have the right to know what is happening. (Is that correct?)
2. He has the same rights and the mother as there have not been any legal situations. I'm unsure about this one.. Would I include legislation? If so, which one?
3. Changing the enrolment form with both legal caring parties permission.
4. Does this mean the enrolment forms or actual legislations? (I.e Family Law Act?)
5. Collaborative partnerships with families and communities - Families are supported in their parenting role and their values and beliefs about child rearing are respected. (Is this correct? Would I have to expand?)
