CHCCS400C - Scenario: Smacking A Child When They Misbehave

A mother has sad that she smacks her child when the child misbehaves. she has asked that since this is her practice that you must smack the child is he or she misbehaves. what is your response? why?

I have been stuck on this question for ages

You could probably talk about how that you cannot resort to physical punishment when a child misbehaves as it is against the law and regulations. You can discuss the behaviour management strategies put in place at the centre if a child does misbehave...
