Hi everyone Im knew to this site was wondering if anyone could tell me if I'm on the right track for this question I know its pretty simple and common sence but id love to pass all my assignments first go if that is possible.
My assignment question is
List four things educators can do to prevent infection and the spread of infection in an early childhood education and care setting.
My answer is:
some of the things that educators can do to help prevent infection and spreading infection are washing your hands before and after you finish cleaning up a mess, changing a nappy or coming inside from play time. When changing any wet clothing or nappies or cleaning up any body substances and faeces we should wear gloves and in very extream cases full personal protective equiptment should be used which includes glasses, gloves, apron, mask and plastic booties. If any educators have kids that suddenly come down with vomiting or the child has very runny yellow/green gunk from there nose which is signs of infection the parents should be phoned and child must be picked up
I'm not sure if that is enough and was going to add your normal every day personal hygiene and also all open cuts or sores must be covered at all time?
Thanks in advance for any input/help
