A family that comes to your service moves into a house in your street. You are aware that you may be faced with some ethical issues relating to:
- protecting the families rights as you will be aware of some of there private life
-how to ensure their values and attitudes are respected
- being non judgemental
- avoiding a conflict of interest
Situation 1:
- the parents have a very loud house warming party and are obviously drunk. You tell the other staff in the service.

Situation 2:
- the family ask if you will babysit for them. Your service policy says this is not appropriate so you explaine this

Situation 3:
- the family continue to ask you to babysit for them and tell you they won't tell anyone if you don't. You say you will just do it once.

- the family ask if you can bring their child home when your shift ends as they need to go to a meeting. You agree as it's on your way home.

Have you read through the Code of Ethics, this will help you determine what is ethically appropriate which you can use as a basis for each scenario.
