Post by Chels23 » Mon Apr 14, 2014 1:28 pm

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: Child Protection 30247A
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
Hi Guys,

I am stuck on Task 001, question 6: What other factors might you consider when determining risk of significant harm?

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I have not answered it yet. I am about abit confused on this question. Does it mean to contribute to possible abuse? Like lack of affordable childcare, social isolation things like this? As I know its not referring to things like physical bruises, runny nose etc as these are indicators?

Description and Message:
Help would be great! Thanks :D

Foactors that may be considered are:

- family situation (step parents, new married, single mum/dad, recently divorced)
- social economics (living situation, renting, bought, with friend or family etc.)
- other siblings
- changes of behaviour

Hope this helps,
