Your Question?
For each of the following identify the potential safety factors and the level of supervision
required:
gardening wth toddlers
toddlers working with play dough
pre-schoolers playing out doors
mobile infants exploring by pulling themselves to standing position
toddlers taking on challenging motor tasks
toddlers at meal time
3yr old playing with sand
safety factors, level of supervision/ carer should


What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
the right gardening tools
make sure that the children don't eat it and make sure no children have any allergies
ensure all equipment is in working order
make sure infants cant pull anything down on top of them and have some safety mats

Yeah you're on the right track with your response.

Basically the question is asking what safety considerations you need to make for each of the points listed. So, for example with gardening you would need to make sure that the tools aren't too sharp, there is enough tools for toddlers, if using compost make sure that it is safe for toddlers to touch, check the area where you are gardening for potential hazards etc. The level of supervision required for gardening is high as the toddlers need to be supervised at all times during this activity.

Hopefully this gives you an idea for the others,

Also, sun protection, hats, sunscreen, shaded areas to play in etc.
Sand - srynges, cat poo (Yuk - i know), some centres have covers, others rake theirs every morning
Play dough - putting it in their mouths.
Meal time - choking hazard, sitting in high chairs etc.
