Bunny Paper Weaving Molly Moo Craft

An easy paper craft for children to create where they can practice their fine motor skills. Great activity for Easter.

Materials Needed:

  • bright coloured paper
  • scissors and craft knife

What to do:

Draw an outline of a bunny on a sheet of paper and cutting it out or print one from the web.
Cut or slice from top to bottom along the bunny’s belly
Using thin strips of paper, weave the paper over and under the cuts along the bunny's belly. 

Hints and Tips:

  • When weaving use different colours paper for each row
  • Have the thin strips already cut for children to choose for weaving
  • Place them on the door or hang them across the room for easter.
  • Use different shapes for doing weaving such as Easter egg, chick, basket etc.
