National Recycling Week is held on the 13th - 19th Of November. The following provides National Recycling Week Templates, Articles, FREE Printables and Activities that can also be included in the curriculum for children.
March 18th, is Global Recycling Day. It is a recycling initiative that encourages us to look at our trash in a new light and encourages us to use recycled materials in different ways. The following provides free Printables and Activities that will enable you to celebrate Global Recycling Day at your service and activities that can be implemented into the curriculum for children.
The Recycling Posters provide images of recycling. These can be used as discussion points for children. These can also be used as part of a recycling display.
Recycling Colouring Pages enable children to colour, paint, and collage each colouring page. Children can make them bright and colourful and learn about recycling too.
The Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Information Posters are a good reminder for Educators and Children on what items are to be reduced, reused and recycled. These can be displayed within a recycling area set up in the service to promote a sustainable environment.
Recycling Bin Colour Matching enables children to recognise and match colours by matching the correct colour emblem to the coloured recycling bin. This is great for colour recognition.
Recycle Bin Tracing Lines enable children to trace over a variety of different lines in different directions. This will help children in the development of their pre-writing skills, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
The Garbage Recycle Bins Matching encourage children to learn about recycling and to sort items in the different coloured bins. This is great for children to begin to see how everyday items can be used to recycle. These can be used for group time discussion as well as for individual children to complete.
The Recycle, Reuse and Repurpose Parent Poster details what Parents can donate from their homes. This is great to display on the Parent Board to inform Parents.
