New Play School Story Time Episodes with Auslan

ABC Kids has worked with Deaf Connect to create five new Play School Story Time episodes with Auslan interpreters.

The episodes feature Nas Campanella, Mark Coles Smith, Sam Bloom, Sofya Gollan and Indira Naidoo. Stories in Auslan include:

Nas Campanella: Come Over To My House

There are so many ways a home can be! Join reporter Nas Campanella, along with Big Ted and Daisy, as they use their ears to read 'Come Over To My House' by Eliza Hull and Sally Rippin and illustrated by Daniel Gray-Barnett.

Mark Coles Smith: Thank You Rain!

Get your gumboots ready! Actor Mark Coles Smith is making a splash with Kiya, Joey and Fergus reading 'Thank You Rain!' by Sally Morgan and illustrated by Johnny Warrkatja Malibirr.

Sam Bloom: Matt Formston Surfing in the Dark

Surf's up! Two-time world para surfing champion Sam Bloom is checking out the surf with Kiya, Jemima and Humpty, reading 'Matt Formston Surfing in the Dark' by John Dickson and illustrated by Philip Bunting.

Sofya Gollan: Ella and the Useless Day

Director, writer, and actress Sofya Gollan is snuggling up with Kiya and Scrap, to read and sign in Auslan 'Ella and the Useless Day' by Meg McKinlay and illustrated by Karen Blair.

Indira Naidoo: Stay For Dinner

Here to cook up a story, presenter and author Indira Naidoo is making dinner plans with Jemima, Meeka, and Joey, serving up a delightful read of 'Stay For Dinner' by Sandhya Parappukkaran and illustrated by Michelle Pereira.
