Celebrate National Pyjama Day On Friday 23 July
On Friday 23 July is National Pyjama Day. Encourage children and Educators to wear their favourite pyjamas for the day to help raise funds and awareness for children in foster care.
The aim of of the day is to raise as much funds as possible for The Pyjama Foundation's Love of Learning Program which is offered to children in foster care - Australia's lowest performing educational group.

Pyjama Angels from the Love of Learning Program are matched with a child in Foster Care. Together, they spend an hour a week reading books aloud, playing educational games and engaging in fun activities.

How to get involved in National Pyjama Day:
  • Encourage children and Educators to dress up in their pjs for the day at the service.
  • Hold a movie afternoon - have popcorn and snacks children can munch on during the movie.
  • Discuss the importance of sleep and how it helps our bodies.
  • Have a discussions on dreams, what they are - if children remember any dreams they had.
  • Make pancakes
  • Make cupcakes to share
