A simple craft activity to start off the new year, for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.
Materials Needed:
- A4 paper
- paintbrush
- coloured paints (pink/red, green).
- marker (black)
What to do:
- Paint one of the child's hands using coloured paint and place it in the middle of the paper.
- Let it dry.
- Before the handprint add the number 2 in marker and 21 after the handprint (the handprint forms the 0 of 2021).
- Above the date write the following "Let's Wave Goodbye To 2020 and Say Hello to 2021".
Hints and Tips:
- Use coloured paper.
- Add glitter.
- Laminate.
- Each child could decorate the page add drawings etc.
