There has been a product safety recall from Product Safety Australia regarding the DC Micro Pozers. They are bendable figures (7cm) with magnets in hands and feet. Figures include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Supergirl, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Robin and Batgirl - purchased on 29 August 2017 to 9 March 2018.
What are the defects?
Some products may not comply with the mandatory safety standards for toys containing magnets, ‘Consumer Protection Notice No. 5 of 2010'. Small hazardous magnets may detach from the products.
What are the hazards?
Detached magnets may be swallowed by children and cause serious internal injury. The magnets may pose a choking hazard to young children (small parts).
What should consumers do?
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
