On Monday 27th September, Chief executive officer Julia Davison of Goodstart Early Learning, announced that all employees throughout Australia will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID, by 29 November.
All staff at Goodstart’s 670 centres will need to have had their first vaccination before the end of October.
Ms Davison said expert advice from the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute had made it clear that the only reasonable step was to ensure every adult who worked in their centres was vaccinated with more than 700,000 children enrolled.
Vaccinations are already mandatory for the early childhood sector in NSW, Victoria and the Northern Territory.
